Biography

Born in San Diego, California at the age of 15 his family moved to the San Francisco Bay Area. Kevin has always had a passion for Film and Theater music, he started playing the piano at the age of 10, and has composed and arranged music for over 25 years.
Kevin graduated from San Jose State University in 1997, with a Bachelor's Degree (BM) in Music Composition. He later moved to Los Angeles and studied at UCLA in the Film Music program. In 2003 Kevin was selected for the mentor program with the Society of Composers and Lyricists (SCL).
Kevin has composed music for the ABC Network, Independent Films, Theater, Documentaries, Animations, Commercials and more. In addition his piano music has been featured on various radio stations. He has worked as an assistant for film composer Christopher Young (Hellraiser, Spider Man 3, Ghost Rider, Untraceable, and more).
In addition, Kevin worked as the Music Director for Shakespear's "Much Ado About Nothing" which ran for 5 weeks and the Knight's Bridge Theatre in Los Angeles, Ca. Kevin is currently the Music Director at the Neighborhood United Methodist Church in Long Beach, Ca. While at the Neighborhood UMC Kevin has started a fund raising concert series "Soli Deo Gloria" (name derived from Bach's inscription on his compositions). Soli Deo Gloria occurs once a quarter showcasing various musicians, composer's and singers. The concert series was established to help raise money for the church's after-school program "Canta". Canta helps bring music and the arts to underprivileged kids in the local neighborhood and is coordinated with the assistance of the Long Beach Opera.
